Deep purplish crimson. Fragrant with bright dark fruit, just a touch of cedar and a nice dustiness. Unexpectedly supple on the palate, with freshness from both acidity and tannins.Tastes less obviously Merlot than the percentages might suggest. Chewy, honest finish. (JH)
